Café de Puta Madre is grown in the high altitude region of Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, is an area of ideal weather conditions that allow an end product of maximum quality. The beans are hand-picked and processed with great dedication, for the enjoyment and delight of the coffee lover. This artisan coffee is grown and process in small farms and its production is limited. Cafe De Puta Madre is one of the very few Puerto Rican coffees guaranteed by the island's Agriculture Department to be 100% Puertorrican grown, NO BLENDS at all. The name comes from the first tasting that took place in Seville, Spain, and the “expression” that came out of those Andaluces after drinking this coffee was "De Puta Madre”!
